Josh Shagam brings a background in scientific imaging to his fine art photography, which often involves the of use tools like radiography and microscopy to create arresting images of the natural world. He previously taught photography at the renowned Rochester Institute of Technology and his writings on scientific imaging and color management have been published in some of the leading journals on those subjects. Shagam’s photographs have been widely published. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Photographic Communications and a Master of Professional Studies degree from the School of Visual Arts.
Josh currently works as an image quality engineer under the Space and Intelligence Systems division of Harris Corporation.
