Josh Shagam brings a background in scientific imaging to his fine art photography, which often involves the of use tools like radiography and microscopy to create arresting images of the natural world. He previously taught photography at the renowned Rochester Institute of Technology and is the coauthor of Basic Photographic Materials and Processes, Fourth Edition. Shagam’s photographs have been widely published. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Photographic Communications and a Master of Professional Studies degree from the School of Visual Arts.
Josh currently works as a camera software image quality engineer at Apple, Inc.
